Kia Ora St Patrick’s College community,

What a term it has been! The Year 9s have settled in well with great camps and peer support sessions. We had another great win at Old Boys Cup and a valiant effort at McEvedy. Just as things were settling down and more initiatives were starting up, we got struck by this virus. These times can be stressful and hard so if you need anyone to talk to just call out to your tutor leader or any senior you know. We encourage you to video call your friends and keep in contact with your tutor class. But in saying this there is also time to have a break from technology. Our Sports Committee will be sending out a few activities you can do to keep active over the next few weeks.

Because we aren’t at school over the next few weeks and you keeping yourself safe at home, we understand you might get stressed or bored. That’s why we are setting up a few competitions throughout the whole school from home. Over the coming weeks, there will be lots of support released from the student leaders to the boys. There will be ways to stick to a daily schedule, to an exercise regime, and lists of what can and can’t be done while on lockdown.

Please be active in your College community. We can get through this together.

Kia Kaha and Sectare Fidem.
