Parent Weekly Update 29 June

  • Saturday 30 June – Foundation Dinner.
  • Sunday 1 July – Marist St Pat’s Rugby Club Annual Mass in our Chapel at 11am. All our SPC rugby community, students and families are very welcome to attend.
  • Tuesday 3 July – Home/School Partnership meeting at 6pm.
  • Friday 6 July – Term 2 ends and newsletter available.

TAYLORFEST: The last week of Term 2 is our Taylorfest Week – a week of fun, creative activities in memory of former Art teacher Rob Taylor who died in 1997. The week culminates on Friday when students and staff dress in something creative that they have made and have an inter-House singing and haka competition. The theme this year is “Magic”. Please note that when students “dress up” on Friday that we do not want any toy weapons brought to school.

NEWSLETTER: A full school newsletter will be available on the last day of Term.

YEAR 9 ENROLMENT APPLICATIONS: Enrolments for 2019 close on Friday 27 July. Enrolment application forms are available on the College website or you can collect a Prospectus from the College office.

HOME/SCHOOL PARTNERHSIP: for Polynesian families. We extend a warm welcome to all our Polynesian families and Old Boys to our final Home-School Partnership of the year. This will be held next Tuesday 3 July at 6pm in our school hall. Our Poly Club will perform part of their bracket for the upcoming Tu Tangata Festival and we have guest speakers who will provide important information about Scholarships for tertiary study as well as the opportunity to listen to parents, students and staff. WOMEN’S GROUP – MOTHER SON DINNER – TICKETS FOR SALE NOW. Please purchase from the College cashier. $30 per person. Thursday 9th August 7pm. This is always a sell-out event so be in quick. The SPC Women’s Group are requesting donations for the Mother and Son Dinner raffles and spot prizes. Anything that would delight a Mother or Son would be appreciated. Please leave items at the College office. Thanks for your help.

2018 NCEA FEE: The 2018 NCEA fee of $76.70 has now been attached to all senior and some Year 10 student’s accounts, please be advised that payment must be made by the 31st August 2018. If you have a current Community Services Card, you can fill in a Financial Assistance form available from the cashier and the cost will be reduced to $20.00.
