Dear Parents and Caregivers

Students are going to be released home early today between approximately 1.30 to 1.45pm. There will be no GO WELLINGTON school buses however both Mana buses will operate as normal.

Thank you for the messages of sympathy on Mrs Kendall-Elder’s death. They are appreciated. Mrs Kendall-Elder’s funeral will be held in the College hall on Monday 9 July at 1pm and our College community is invited to attend. Students are to wear formal uniform. We ask that you continue to keep Mrs Kendall-Elder, her family and friends in your prayers at this sad time.

YEAR 9 ENROLMENT APPLICATIONS: Enrolments for 2019 close on Friday 27 July. Enrolment application forms are available on the College website or you can collect a Prospectus from the College office.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY OFFICE HOURS: Between 9-13 July the school office will be open from 9am to 3pm daily. The office will be closed from 16-20 July. Normal office hours will resume on Monday 23 July.

UNIFORM: We are concerned at the poor state of some of our students’ uniform. Please use the holiday period to ensure your son has everything he needs including the correct shoes; a College tie etc and that it is in good condition. We expect our students to have full uniform and to wear it well to school, while at school, on their way home and when representing the College.

SECOND HAND UNIFORM SHOP: The Second Hand Uniform Shop will be open on Saturday 21 July from 10am to 12 noon.

TERM DATES: Term 3 – Monday 23 July to Friday 28 September. Term 4 – Monday 15 October to Wednesday 12 December.

TU TANGATA TICKETS: These will go on sale from 8am on Monday 9 July through Ticketek. Be in fast as tickets sell within a couple of days. For costs and more information, please email Penina Masoe –

METLINK: For our students travelling to College using Metlink buses, trains and harbour ferries to get to and from school, changes are coming VERY soon. From Sunday 15 July 2018, fares and the ticket types will change, and Snapper will be the better way to pay on all Metlink buses across the region. There are also changes to Metlink train, school and public bus services across the region, including big changes to bus routes and timetables in Wellington city. WOMEN’S GROUP – MOTHER SON DINNER – TICKETS FOR SALE NOW. Please purchase from the College cashier. $30 per person. Thursday 9th August 7pm. This is always a sell-out event so be in quick. The SPC Women’s Group are requesting donations for the Mother and Son Dinner raffles and spot prizes. Anything that would delight a Mother or Son would be appreciated. Please leave items at the College office. Thanks for your help.

2018 NCEA FEE: The 2018 NCEA fee of $76.70 has now been attached to all senior and some Year 10 student’s accounts, please be advised that payment must be made by the 31st August 2018. If you have a current Community Services Card, you can fill in a Financial Assistance form available from the cashier and the cost will be reduced to $20.00.
