DATES TO DIARY:

  • Saturday 24 August: Our Annual SPC Foundation Fundraising dinner with Sir Bryan Williams, one of New Zealand’s great All Blacks as our guest speaker.
  • Tuesday 27 August: Year 11 students from Mr Silvester’s and Mr L’Estrange’s RE classes are on retreat.  The bus will leave College at 9am and the boys are allowed to wear mufti and need to bring snacks and lunch.
  • Wednesday 28 August: Year 11 students from Ms MacLeod’s and Mr Atkinson’s RE classes are on retreat.  The bus will leave College at 9am and the boys are allowed to wear mufti and need to bring snacks and lunch. The Board of Trustees meet in the Colin Boardroom at 6pm.  Parents are most welcome to attend. 

ADVANCE NOTICE: 1. The Friends of St Patrick’s College would like to invite members of our College community – students, staff and their families to attend our Family Mass on Sunday 15 September in the Chapel at 11am.  Students are not required to wear uniform.  Mass will be followed by a light luncheon afterwards in the College staffroom. 2. COURSE SELECTION EVENING – Tuesday 10 September from 5.30 to 7pm.  This is an important information evening to help parents and students select appropriate courses for 2020.  Please put this date in your diary.

KNOWLEDGE SHOP NCEA 1 and 2 EXAM PREPARATION PROGRAMME.  ENROLMENTS ARE NOW OPEN: Knowledge Shop will be holding its highly successful NCEA Exam Preparation Programme at St Patrick’s College from Monday 30 September to Friday 4 October. Subjects offered include English, Science, Mathematics, and Study skills. The aim of the programme is to assist students to achieve the very best possible results in the end-of-year NCEA exams. Places are strictly limited. This is an excellent opportunity to revise the most important areas of the curriculum.  Subjects are taught by highly regarded, current NCEA teachers. SAUSAGE SIZZLE THIS SUNDAY AT BUNNINGS PORIRUA: Some of our students alongside some from Newlands College will be hosting a yummy Sausage Sizzle on Sunday 25 August at Bunnings Porirua between 8-5pm to fundraise for their trip to France in 2020.  They would welcome your support.
