ST PAT'S ARTIFICIAL TURF OFFICIALLY OPENS
The St Patrick’s College Artificial Turf was officially opened on Thursday 6 th June by Wellington City Mayor Celia Wade-Brown and Attorney General Chris Finlayson, Old Boy of St Pat’s. The joint project between St Pat’s and WCC sees the first full-size artificial turf installed in the Eastern Suburbs.
The College is delighted to have this fantastic facility and acknowledges the efforts of all who have helped in making it a reality, particularly the Wellington City Council, The St Patrick’s College Foundation, the SPC Board of Proprietors, the SPC Old Boys’ Association, the SPC Parents’ Association, Marist St Pats RFC and the turf contractors, Groundworks.
Thanks also to our Foundation Donors and all those involved in ‘Run for the Turf’ and ‘Square Promotion’.The Foundation Benefit Dinner will be held on 22 nd June to help raise further funds for the turf.
