Getting ‘future fit’ - a 10 year Modernisation and Resilience Masterplan

From October 2021, St Patrick’s College Wellington is embarking on a 10 year Modernisation and Resilience Masterplan – which will ensure our campus buildings will be ‘future fit’ educationally and structurally.

Since the College was built in 1978 minimal upgrades have taken place. This new opportunity to provide resilient, innovative learning spaces for our students is an exciting journey we look forward to starting with you and our wider community.

Our Masterplan provides the College with a blueprint for a staged development that can be progressed in a logical and affordable manner. There is a specific focus on achieving innovative learning environments and improved structural resilience that will meet and exceed today’s expected standard for schools.

This is an exciting development for St Pat’s and one that will ensure that the College will continue to play a critical role in the education environment for the next century and beyond.

MAKE A DONATION

A special thank you

The College would like to express our sincere thanks to the generous contribution and on-going support by the Society of Mary and our Board of Proprietors. With their assistance we are able to proceed with the first three stages of this project. Significant fundraising will be undertaken amongst our wider community and Old Boys’ network for this project through the College Foundation.

Below is a timeline for the immediate stages, which will commence October 2021

  • Stage 1 Performing Arts Centre October 2021 - September 2022
  • Stage 2 Palisade Wall Feburary 2022 - October 2022
  • Stage 3 Chanel Block September 2022 - December 2023

Though change is not always an easy process, the alternative, to retain the status quo is not an option, and would only be doing a disservice to the young men in our care. We are committed to ensuring all your concerns and queries are answered.
