About Our Foundation

In 2010 the St Patrick’s College Foundation charitable trust was established to connect today’s College with is extended community of past alumni (Old Boys), parents and friends – to safeguard the College’s financial wellbeing for future generations.

We are proud to be able to support the College thanks to the generosity of our Old Boys and wider community.

Some past examples of generosity include:

Development of the Artificial Turf: In 2013 your generosity ensured that the artificial turf, which has become such an amazing asset to the College, was laid down so our Patricians had somewhere to develop their sporting skills even in inclement Kilbirnie weather or at night.

Liberato Cacace, who was recruited by the Wellington Phoenix during his time as a student at St Pat’s, was able to hone his skills on our artificial turf.

Assisting students and families in need: Each year, your support also allows the Foundation to assist the College to purchase Chromebook devices for a group of students from financially challenged families so that they can participate fully in their educational learning.

Old Boy’s give back:

“The College did alot for us Old Boys. For many of us it gave us an opportunity to grow and develop and foster our interests. I’ve kept in touch with St Patrick’s through the years, as I believe my success has had a lot to do with the encouragement and support, I received there, and in turn I’ve supported the Foundation by helping fund some extracurricular programmes”
