2025 Senior Academic Prizegiving

Congratulations to all our awardees who were presented with their awards at last night’s Senior Academic Prizegiving held in our O’Shea Performing Arts Centre.

It was a memorable year of achievement and celebrated by approximately 700 people in attendance.

The top academic honour, the Dux of the College, was awarded to Charles Burns.

Charles was recognised for outstanding academic excellence, receiving Excellence Awards in Religious Education, English, Calculus, History, and Te Reo Māori. Having demonstrated consistent rigour across his studies, he was also the first-place winner in Level 3 Te Reo Māori, Mathematics with Calculus, History, and English, securing the prestigious Society of Mary Gold Medal for Dux.

The runner-up, Proxime Accessit, was awarded to Jindra Bo for Excellence in Religious Education, Calculus, and Music.

  • Sportsman of the Year (Victor Ladorum Cup): Connor Kemp (National Secondary School Triathlon Champion, McEvedy Shield 3000m record holder)
  • Leadership Gold Medal: Jack Single
  • Archbishop's Award for Catholic Leadership: JJ Historillo
  • Tautai o le Moana Scholarship: Gabriel Aukusitino and Ethan Lepou (recognising cultural commitment)
  • House Shield Winner: Kennedy
