College launches appeal to help complete the Learning Hub and Library
We appreciate your patience as the College continues to work through the construction of our new Chanel Learning Hub and Library. It has been inspiring to see the completed roof installation and now the internal carpentry starts.
Our College Foundation will be fundraising from September through to November to ensure the projects every success.
The building completion date is 22 December 2023. Fit-out of the building will then start and we expect to be fully operational by late February 2024.
This project is a critical component of our Campus Modernisation and Resilience Masterplan. A new Learning Hub will provide high-quality, fit-for-purpose learning facilities to support our current students whilst providing opportunities to entice future students to choose St Pat’s as their preferred College for enrolment. The light-filled open plan hub, designed by Design Group Stapleton Elliott, will house our school Library and have the capacity to host learning events. Situated on the previous Chanel block site, this building will completely change the façade of our College.
This project is a significant financial undertaking and we appreciate the ongoing support of the Society of Mary, our Proprietors, Cornerstone donors and parents in being able to break ground on this project.
With much work to be done to complete the project, the support of all our extended St Pat’s community is needed to raise funds for the remainder of the project.
By Term 1 next year, with your support, our students will have the use of a leading facility, providing new opportunities for collaborative learning; ensuring that each Patrician has the resources to achieve their academic and cultural pursuits.
We hope you can support our fundraising endeavours by making a donation today, or by sponsoring an item in the Library as a family or business.
