1st Prize - Abilio Fernandes, St Patrick's College, Wellington - for 'Autumn Song'

Abilio Fernandes, Year 11, has won the New Zealand Choral Federation-SOUNZ Choral Composition Competition.  This is the first time a student from our College has won the award. The competition awards a prize for the best choral piece composed by a New Zealand secondary school student. The winning entry receives a cash prize of $250. 

Abilio's composition will be presented at The Big Sing Finale gala concert in Dunedin in August.
