The turf is an integral part of our College campus. It is used daily for physical education classes and as an all-season lunch time space for the boys.

Playing sport in the Eastern suburbs of Wellington has been revolutionised for tens of thousands of young people because of the turf here at St Patrick’s. All weather and floodlit, the turf has seen many thousands of hours of use by multiple sporting codes over the past 11 years.

To meet health and safety requirements and the standards required by international sporting codes, it is time to resurface. The Foundation is focused on supporting the school to do this.
